Harry Potterfilms : love them or detest them . We prefer to love them , even if they did forget quite a morsel out from the playscript . Realistically , it would have more than double the film time if they included everything ( not that we ’d have really plain about that ) .

The Burrow is one of the many thing in the world ofHarry Potterthat have a bite of a sliver before it made it into the movies . The Burrow is so full of life and Department of Energy , it make sense that a lot was left out . Here are some fact worth bang about the quirky home our beloved Weasleys lived in .

It Felt Like Home

There are n’t many berth that Harry could say feel like home , but the Burrow was one of them . in reality , according to Harry , the Burrow was his second favorite place . The first one being Hogwarts , of line . Harry do it the Burrow - and it ’s inhabitants so much that he would have mirthfully move in with them . And we know that they would have been happy to have him .

The Burrow has a very lived in feeling , but in a good way . This might have been difficult for them to depict in the flick , but the Burrow is so full of love and life story . It ’s no marvel that Harry fall in passion with the place right away - it ’s the precise opposite of everything he ’s ever known .

The Burrow is Even Less Stable Looking

There is no doubt that if a muggle was to walk up and see the Burrow , there would be some serious questions being involve . It surely would n’t be passing any construction codes ! But think it or not , the manner the Burrow is describe makes it sound even less stable than shown in the Word .

Described as a house with asymmetrical extension make upon round-shouldered telephone extension . One has to wonder what was holding it up . And the obvious result is : magic . There ’s just no way around it . That building would never stand on it ’s own .

The Lovegoods

Would you believe that the Lovegoods hold out shockingly penny-pinching to the Burrow ? That was n’t portrayed very well in the movie , but they were running short on clip . The Burrow was locate so closely to the Lovegoods home that the two folk could have easily walked to visit on another .

One can conceive of Ron ’s enticement to chatter his family when they ventured to the Lovegoods ' homestead . Though he likely did n’t know if any of his family unit were staying at the Burrow once it became compromised .

The Yard

The yard is both large , and more littered , than one might have pictured from the movies . It ’s adult enough to keep pry muggle eyes away – an important fact on it ’s own . There is a large and overgrown garden in the backyard , and a service department and Gallus gallus chicken coop to one side .

To the other side is what the Weasley children call an woodlet . But really its ' a with child field surrounded by Tree . On the bright side , this area make for the perfect location to practice Quidditch , since the muggles stand up no chance of happening upon it .

The Creatures

Maybe it ’s because there is so much magic besiege the Burrow ( from the magic holding it up , to the wizardly residents themselves ) but the Burrow seems to pull in pot of magical creatures . Some of them less welcome than others .

Harry has been enlisted at least once to help the Weasley nestling disembarrass the garden of gnomes . Their method do n’t seem to be lasting , though they may be the most humanist way to consider with them ( base on how we can guess other family ’s may treat them ) . There are other critters in the garden as well , and even something know in the Ionic dialect , but more on that later .

3. Kitchen

The kitchen was shown in the movies , and it more or less matched out vision . It is n’t very big , but seems to be large enough for Molly Weasley to be able to cook for her immense family . It even mostly fits the intact clan . But that is n’t so much the lawsuit should they have any guests over . Whenever that chance , the family relocates to the garden for meals . Which sounds quite lovely , actually .

The garden dinner party scenes hold some of the most memorable moments from Harry ’s visits . Such as the time the older brothers made the tables warfare with one another . Or the meter the minister arrived . Or when Molly threw Harry a birthday party .

The Bedrooms

usually when you learn about a big phratry , you don that some of the nipper share rooms . That is n’t the case for the Burrow . With the elision of Fred and George , because of course they share a room - though maybe they would have get into less trouble had they had split rooms … oh who are we kidding ! Granted , the two oldest buddy have already move out , which likely make some bedchamber shamble .

Ginny and Bill have bedroom on the 2d floor of the household . Bill ’s elbow room was likely used for guests , including himself and the other firstborn brother whenever they arrive to visit . On the next floor up were Fred and George ’s bedroom , as well as Percy ’s . We can only imagine how much that drove Percy nut case .

The next floor up does n’t seem to have any bedrooms . Or at least none used in regular rotation . We opine it has a bathroom though … we’re hope it ’s not the only one ! Above that floor Mr. and Mrs. Weasley ’s bedroom accept up the integral expanse .

Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter and Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley looking at a crystal ball in Harry Potter.

in the end , Ron ’s way . Ron ’s way is called the attic , even though there in reality is an Classical Greek above his bedroom . It ’s the highest bedroom in the menage . And Ron is intelligibly less than proud of about that . Perhaps because it sways ever so slenderly . Or perhaps because of the resident in the actual attic .

The Attic

The Ionic is domicile to another one of the Burrow ’s witching tool . In this type , the family line body snatcher . He is n’t in reality a member of the folk , but he may as well be . Especially since he refuses to leave the premiss . Once again , the Weasleys are likely being implausibly kind in putting up with this foreign animal .

Unfortunately , it ’s Ron who really pays the damage for this visitor . The graverobber lean to make love around and groan at all hour of the night . Not on the nose idea for a good night ’s rest . Or for a produce child to discover . It ’s certain that Ron had nightmares thanks to this .

Ron was able to put the ghoul to right purpose once . Or rather , he had plan to do so . He had successfully trained the graverobber to sort of bit and look like him . Enough so that he ’d make pass for a very sick Ron , should the ministry come look for him . But that was all before the theater was compromised . It probable because less of a relevant point then .
