Bradley Cooper has been a tug military group on the big screen for year , and with 64 Actor credits , it ’s pretty severely not to love at least some of his work . Not only has Cooper made a name for himself , but he also loves to dive into different movie genres and assail different roles . One of the most various actor of our time , Cooper slays pretty much anything he ’s in , but alas , there must be at least a few that divide fans .

From Guardians of the Galaxy to Valentine ’s Day to American Sniper ( these are a few call out ) , Bradley is a Hollywood giant . Here are 5 of his skilful part , and of course , 5 that did n’t quite make the cut .

WORST: Brian Gilcrest, Aloha (2015)

While this movie has a stacked cast ( Emma Stone , Rachel McAdams , Bill Murray , John Krasinski , etc etc ) , this cinema definitely falls short , and none of these stellar actors could save their characters . Brian Gilcrest is a military contractile organ who get in Hawaii , where he reconnects with a past fire , but is simultaneously falling in love with his set apart Air Force employee . aboveboard , Bradley probably give it his all in this one , but there was n’t much to roll in the hay about his character . If we ’re being BRUTALLY reliable , there was actually a heap to detest about this role ( see the scene where he is literally a primary player in the intact operation his new boo is endeavor to resist , and , he keeps it a mystery ) . Yikes .

BEST: Alex Dmitri, Hit & Run (2012)

While this movie is by no means the most redemptive or hokey picture show on the gravid screen , we can not serve but applaud every actor in this one for playing the hell out of their allot role .   This picture show abide by a former getaway driver ( Dax Shepard ) , who risks his life-time in Witness Protection to serve his girlfriend ( Kristen Bell ) move to LA .

They are furrow by an old friend from his past , Alex Dmitri , who feels extremely upset that this friend has betrayed him . With dreadlock and Brobdingnagian icteric sunglasses , Bradley ’s quality is cringy and uproarious , but frankly kind of brilliant ?

WORST: Adam Jones, Burnt (2015)

This movie follows a chef who has destroyed his vocation through drugs and unconventional doings , but who has return to London to ransom himself . This movie is aboveboard moderately lackluster , and as much as we ’re loving fancy - chef Bradley , this quality fall moderately monotonic . This distinctive internal journey has some somewhat deep baggage , but this film never took off , and Bradley ’s calling is definitely no best off for it .

BEST: Richie DiMaso, American Hustle (2013)

This picture is another attractively stacked cast and even includes Bradley ’s screen - truelove , Jennifer Lawrence . This Oscar - make film follow a conman ( Christian Bale ) and his partner ( Amy Adams ) as they are coerce to forge for an FBI Agent ( Cooper ) , who lead them into an Hell of criminal offense , powerbrokers , and the mafia .

This moving picture is filled with drama , criminal offense , and some incredible acting . set up yourself for a mentally unstable and unpredictable ( but racy and beautiful ) Jennifer Lawrence , and faultless and dynamical performances by Cooper and his fellow stars . " Everyone hustles to survive " in this brilliant film .

WORST: Ben, He’s Just Not That Into You (2009)

This romantic comedy is your typical intertwining of multiple tarradiddle arcs , including a married pair , three female atomic number 27 - workers looking for a man , and a young couple struggling with the direction of their relationship . Bradley Cooper , the marital man , spends the full movie flirting with Scarlett Johansson and insisting that he can not shaft on his wife . We get it , she ’s red-hot , but really ? This platitude and eye - gyre - inducing movie is just another stab at man and wife and relationship , and this wonderful cast could n’t even tally a few kinetics to their flat characters .

BEST: Phil, The Hangover (2009)

Again , this film is n’t precisely up for any Academy Awards , but this clowning classic can not go unnoticed , and we all ( maybe detest to ) acknowledge that we love every bit of its absurdity . While Bradley is brilliant as playing the serious and disturbed FBI Agent , he ’s honestly just as   amazing playing this unfledged eminent schooltime teacher as he scour Las Vegas for his missing intoxicated acquaintance .

We appreciate his versatility , and honestly , who does n’t be intimate a upright Cooper - Galifianakis jolly ?

WORST: Steve, All About Steve (2009)

While Cooper clearly plays the lead valet de chambre in this one , this romantic drollery only score a 4.8/10 on IMDb , and unquestionably divided lover . Sandra Bullock plays a crossword mystifier for a newspaper , and convert that Steve ( a CNN cameraman ) , is her true love , follow him all over the country in hopes to convince him they ’re meant to be . Yeah , we get that this already sounds cringy , and you would n’t be wrong . Even Cooper and Bullock could n’t save this gearing - wreck .

BEST: Jack, A Star Is Born (2018)

This moving picture is in spades not the typical fill for a Bradley Cooper rooter , that is , if you get a Brobdingnagian boot out ofHit & RunandThe Hangover . However , this Oscar - nominated pic is nothing shortsighted of magnificence . To everyone ’s surprise , Bradley Cooper announced this film as the director and the lead character who play a famous singer .

Alongside Lady Gaga , this film is full of drama , beautiful music , adorable romance , and tragedy . We all deal a step back and applauded Bradley for this one , and honestly , we ’re now confident he can do anything . We ’re far from the shoal now , my acquaintance .

WORST: Neil Walker, Joy (2015)

This Oscar nominee was an incredible motion picture , and we do n’t disapprove of Jennifer Lawrence ’s Oscar nominee for Best Actress . However , this movie also disunite fans , especially in terms of Bradley Cooper ’s role as Neil . Our preferred couple did n’t exactly let down , but this kind - of - patriarchal lack - luster movie did n’t exactly do wonder for our main human race . This moving picture is definitely different , and we ’re not paint a picture you do n’t watch it , but do n’t expect a ton of Cooper glamor . Also , prepare yourself for some passably telling mop selling .

BEST: Pat Solitano, Silver Linings Playbook (2012)

Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper strike again in this plastic film ( clearly , they ’re meant to be ) . This romanticistic funniness - drama follows Pat , who is struggling with bipolar upset , after he moves back to his parent ' theatre after pass clock time in a genial institution after a violent instalment with his married woman ’s affair . Pat meet Tiffany ( Lawrence ) , who struggles with mental health issue of her own . The two make a deal to do each other a favor , all the while dealing with their bud romance and genial wellness challenges .

This film include some football , some dance , and a brawny performance by this stellar duo . With 8 Oscar nominating address , this film does n’t let down . Cooper is amazing , even as he ramble on around the neighborhood in a garbage bag and throw frustrating books through an upstairs windowpane ( we hated that Hemingway account book , too , Pat ) .
