Avengers: Endgame
Avengers : Endgamewas nothing short of intense , electrifying , heartbreaking and finally … heartwarming . Iron Man , aka Tony Stark ( Robert Downey , Jr. ) sacrificed his life literally for the peachy good as we tearfully bid him farewell . It ’s no doubtfulness that Tony Stark has left an impact not just in the Marvel Universe but also in pop culture and our lives . wonder wish him farewell in the most meaningful way , for Tony fail a hero . His funeral was attended by the Avengers , their home , and Tony ’s other close friends and family like Rhodey ( Don Cheadle ) , Happy ( Jon Favreau ) , Pepper ( Gwyneth Paltrow ) and his girl . Yet , there were a few the great unwashed drop ; here are 10 eccentric who should ’ve been at Iron Man ’s funeral .
The General Public
Tony Stark made an impact on many throughout his time as CEO of Stark Industries , as Iron Man , and then as an Avenger . certainly , there were mass who called him the " merchandiser of death " but he certainly has his supporter and admirer , too . You would believe that all these people ( and there would probably be thousands , if not more ) would show up to devote their respects to the world they only knew by report . Then again , possibly they attended a second funeral ; oftentimes people in the public eye have a private funeral for those stuffy to them and a public one for all to give ear .
Stark Industries Employees
It ’s hard to imagine that in all of Tony ’s years as chief operating officer of his beginner ’s company , he did n’t make some friend or at least acquaintances along the agency . For that matter , Pepper probably has Friend there too from her metre as Tony ’s helper and then the new CEO .
Stark Industries was , and is , a major part of both Tony ’s and Pepper ’s lives . It would n’t be out of the average to see some random people from the company attending Tony ’s funeral to pay their concluding obedience to him or to at least patronage Pepper .
Justin Hammer
Remember this guy fromIron Man 2?Hammer is an inept rival of Tony ’s , and he ’s the one that recruit Ivan Vanko ( Mickey Rourke ) to establish an raiment of suits to upstage Tony ’s creations . Unfortunately for Hammer , this goes horribly wonky as Vanko has an evil patch of his own . Hammer is turn back and we have n’t seen him since . perhaps byEndgameHammer would ’ve been out of prison house . If so , he could ’ve evince up to yield protection to his former rival ( it ’d be the reverential thing to do ) . Then again , that ’s not exactly Hammer ’s stylus ; he ’s more the type to show up and gloating . It ’s probably beneficial that Hammer did n’t make an appearance , but we would ’ve appreciated the flashback to 2010 and homage to the 2d film in theIron Mantrilogy .
Christine Everhart
Reporter Christine Everhart ( Leslie Bibb ) was a quality in bothIron ManandIron Man 2.She played a larger theatrical role in the first celluloid as she spends the night with Tony following her abbreviated consultation with him and is also the one that inform him about his company ’s shipment of arm to the Ten Rings that are being used to attack Gulmira .
In the 2nd film , she is pen a musical composition on Justin Hammer and plays a less important purpose . She and Tony had something of a history but considering how rude she was to Pepper in the first film and the share animosity between Christine , Pepper , and Tony in the 2nd film it ’s not surprising Christine did n’t show up . Still , she would have been an interesting addition to the funeral - goer .
The Original Rhodey
In the firstIron Manfilm , Rhodey was played a unlike thespian , Terrence Howard . SinceIron Man 2,Rhodey has been portrayed by actor Don Cheadle . Since Cheadle is now Rhodey , evidently Howard would have had to seem as someone else . Perhaps another old admirer ? TrueIron Manfans for certain would have appreciated a cameo coming into court from Howard at the funeral . Almost like the original gang of 2008 that started it all , back together again to celebrate the life of the great Tony Stark .
Dum-E
Remember the robot Tony used in his workshop ? Dum - E is one of them . Dum - E saved Tony ’s aliveness in the firstIron Manfilm when Obadiah ( Jeff Bridges ) steal Tony ’s Arc Reactor . Tony made it to his service department to get the one Pepper had made for him , but it was Dum - due east that grabbed the Arc Reactor when Tony could n’t and give it over just in time .
Unfortunately , Dum - E was destroyed inIron Man 3along with Tony ’s Malibu residence . Yet Tony manifestly brought Dum - E back to aliveness , as Dum - E was see helping Happy and other workers mob items after the sale of the Avengers Tower inSpider - Man : Homecoming . reckon Dum - E was one of Tony ’s best helpers , why would n’t he have been present at the funeral ? A funeral for Tony Stark without robot does n’t seem meet .
MIT Buddies And Professors
Tony was always a genius , encouraged by the world and pressured by his male parent to deliver the goods beyond expectation . This path led him early on on to MIT , which he graduated from at an former long time with mellow pureness . During this meter in which he was out on his own in the world , Tony surely would have connect with people and made friend with fellow scholar , professors and the like . It would make sense to see someone Tony know from MIT just as you would see someone from Stark Industries at Tony ’s funeral . If no friends or professors get along , MIT could have at least sent a representative to give Tony a posthumous award of some form .
Stan Lee
While Lee did make a terminal cameo inAvengers : Endgame , it was n’t for the view depict Tony ’s funeral . Stan ’s cameo was as a hipster when Stark and Steve Rogers ( Chris Evans ) travel back to 1970 .
Stan ’s appearance was nothing little of amusing and a nice way to offer the legend farewell once more since his decease in November of 2018 . However , had Stan had another cameo at Tony ’s funeral , it would have made the funeral even more significant as we tender parting to two legends in one scene . remind the excessive ugly crying . ' Nuff said .
The Iron Man Suits
Knowing Tony , he ’d have probably wanted some of his greatest creations attend his own funeral and putting on some kind of show in the sky . He ’d probably go so far as to program them to attend follow his demise ; after all , he did think forrader and leave behind a telecasting message for his wife and daughter . Even without the suit , Tony is still Iron Man . Pepper is likely the one that gave a severe ' no ' to the Iron Man suits being present for his funeral ; she never was unhinged about them to begin with . Considering the funeral was at Tony ’s theater in the wood , the Iron Man suit could n’t have been far away . In any causa , even without the suits in attending , the people there did n’t need a reminder of all the acquisition Tony has achieved in his lifetime .
Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow
evidently , since Natasha ( Scarlett Johansson ) also sacrificed herself for the slap-up commodity to recollect one of the stones , her absence seizure from Tony ’s funeral is excused . Yet , she really should have been at the funeral ; aboveboard , the rule that you have to give something you bed to find the Harlan Fisk Stone is just too much . wretched Clint ( Jeremy Renner ) grieved deeply for his sure-enough champion and tried to sacrifice himself instead . It was poignant and heartbreaking all at once to see the remaining Avengers grieve her loss , but without her forfeit , or Tony ’s , their happy ending would n’t have been possible . Natasha was no doubt at the funeral in spirit , though .
Tony Stark has come in a long way from the partying philanderer that did n’t have a care in the universe . He ’s sacrifice so much for the good of mankind and even though that ’s what conduce to his untimely demise , we do it and respect him all the more for it . We aggrieve but we prize Tony Stark , Iron Man , the movies and so much more that the dear graphic symbol has leave behind . For all he did , there really is trial impression that Tony Stark has a nitty-gritty .
