Some of those powers are more fun than others , and Ben in particular conflict to contend after he transform into a gargantuan orange rock monster . Despite combat among themselves at first , the Fantastic Four are ultimately united by a common foe : Victor Von Doom ( Julian McMahon ) .

Fantastic Fourwas panned by critics upon its release , but it was enough of a success at the box office to pull in a sequel , Fantastic Four : Rise of the Silver Surfer , which get in 2007 .
