Hogwarts , however , is within walk distance of Hogsmeade , the only all - wizarding village in Britain . This means wizarding pubs , shops , and more properly on the doorsill , and a property where witches and thaumaturgist can live life without receive to veil at all .
Burrow: No Permission Slips Required
For all that Hogsmeade is an awe-inspiring place , the student at Hogwarts ca n’t just wander down there whenever they select ( unless they apply a hugger-mugger passage , of row ! ) . No one would want to miss the deception of the Great Hall during Christmas , when it is lined with Tree and magical snowfall falls from the ceiling - and with no disrespect to Molly ’s cooking , an intact kitchen of House Elves would be a good deal more accommodating when it come to get that tardy night snack .
Burrow: Can Use Muggle Objects
For those born and bring up in the wizarding world , this would n’t even be a thoughtfulness .
