But now that Wally West ’s motivations in brood up the law-breaking and revealing the heroes ' arcanum has been explained , he face his final fate and judgement . But it is n’t the one fans will be anticipate … it ’s something far more in keeping withthe legacy ofThe Flash , and the heart of the Wally West fans know .

The Death (Suicide?) of Wally West

Once the five days passed – as they finally did in the last egress – Wally awaited the arrival of his younger self , know he would be pour down , commence the loop over . Except … that ’s not what happened .
The Truth: Wally West Saved Himself All Along

Wally does so with the knowledge that Booster , Beetle , Batgirl , Poison Ivy , and even Harley are menage … and will have his back again when he returns to this spot in five days ' time .
Where The Finale Leaves Wally West
disregardless of his intentions , Wally knows ( like everyone else ) that he must still respond for what he has done . It was"his responsibility , even if it was n’t his intention . “After lead a crushing knee from Harley directly to his most vulnerable area , Wally returns to the steps of Sanctuary where he is pick up by Superman and Barry Allen . Next seen with handcuffs being take into detainment by Batman and Wonder Woman , Wally ’s closing narration does show some level of acceptance for his realness . He ’s done runningawayfrom it , at least . He may have lost his wife and his children , but in the goal , he did n’t fall back himself . Because he was block … by himself . That ’s the kind of emotional storytelling only potential when you ’re carry on with a Flash .
While the abstract for this final topic posed a doubtfulness to the Justice League–“Should the tragedy do them to redouble their endeavour to help their hurting comrades , or will they need to close up shop?"–the answer offered is the most hopeful one . Sanctuary is back up and running in the net pages . Booster Gold has accepted that he is n’t alone , either ( apparently still crashing with Blue Beetle ) . Harley and Poison Ivy have a bracing get-go . And while he may be lock in away for what he caused , Wally West come out of his crisis still breathe , too .
