The tardy DC film to number out of Warner Bros. is in many ways a movie about finding your family . During a recent interview byCinema Blend , editor in chief Michel Aller reveal that this sequence was actually a wholly new interlingual rendition of the scene and was dart during reshoots . The plan was always for Sivana to confront his folk , but the meeting setting was where the cock-a-hoop change was made . So where was the reunion originally going to come about ? A Christmas party . It was a late add-on . Originally the way Sivana confront his family was all different . It was at a Christmas political party in his sign . And so the whole idea of him confronting his family was re - conceive . So that was part of the additional photography .
It ’s not clear if the original adaptation of this scene was establish around a family Christmas party or a byplay one , but the end result would still be the same . Shazam!is clearly set during the holiday time of year too , so this could ’ve been just the latest reminder of the time of class . Aller did not reveal why the decision was made to make this modification though , which would give everyone some additional context to the original architectural plan . That said , she did say that there ’s a chance this alternative setting will be included onShazam ! ’s dwelling house dismission as a deleted scene .
Now thatShazam!is out in theaters , it ’ll be fun to see what other details about edit or alternate scenes are revealed .
