Zachary Levi may be the star ofShazam ! , but he originally audition to make for a different role altogether . The account ofShazam!follows a Philadelphia surrogate nestling named Billy Batson , who one Clarence Shepard Day Jr. is muster up by the last survive phallus of the Council of Wizards . While many have become devotee of Levi ’s version of Shazam , some have criticized that Billy has different personalities calculate on if it is Levi or Asher Angel play the part . Levi ’s execution and attitude does mirrors that of Freddy in many ways , so maybe he bring some of the role he auditioned for with him to his take on Billy .
With the winner thatShazam!has already had , wheels are already in move on a sequelthat will see Levi repeat his superhero role . As he continues to become more comfortable in the role , his evolution in the part should stay on . And since Levi already has the adult Billy role locked down , hopefully the continuation will see him interact even more with the young Freddy andAdam Brody ’s take on the older Freddy .
