His character in the Last Jedi , though , was the complete opposite .
Right from the first minute Hux loses his glory of self-confidence and dominance , with Poe Dameron outsmarting him in a hassle and Supreme Leader Snoke then drop him side - first against the floor in a comedic fashion . Hux ’ humiliation grows as the movie goes on , with Kylo Ren fret him and prisoners Finn and Rose Tico manage to escape from his clutch . Where did the villain ofThe Force Awakensgo ? Hux has to be strong and more minacious whenThe Rise of Skywalkerhits screen in December .

Ah , Chewbacca . What has Disney done to you ?
