Worst: The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (6.6)
WhenThe Amazing Spider - Man 2was created , it was fresh off the winner of the first picture show of the fresh reboot starring Andrew Garfield . The idea of the sequel was suppose to be much bigger than just one movie . It was fail to be theIron Manof theSpider - Manuniverse where it would spawn multiple spin - offs includingVenomandSinister Six .
But then the film was released and it was anything short of a failure because of a lack of a story merge with a cast of what seems like 100 characters . It was a total mess from start to finish and not even the elect mold could write the film .
They stuff too much Spider - Man into oneSpider - Manfilm and it ruined the whole thing .
Worst: X-Men Origins: Wolverine (6.6)
If there is anyone that can save a film dealership , it is Hugh Jackman . He is one of the most likeable bozo of all meter and can do just about anything you require of him . He can play , sing , dance , direct , write , and make astonishing chef-d’oeuvre . But not even Hugh Jackman was able to link up this film with the hearing .
ten - Men Origins : Wolverinehad a chance to give us a genuine origin tale for Wolverine but it blow the chance by bulldozing right on through the depth of his real source account and resolve to go in the lead and apply activeness sequences or else .
It feel as if it was a placeholder for the next serial ofX - Menfilms . It was poorly put to death , unmistakable and bare .
Worst: The Punisher (6.5)
In the previous 90s , Thomas Jane was becoming a planetary whizz , and heartthrob after starring in motion-picture show such asThe Thin Red Line , Deep Blue Sea , Magnolia , Original Sin , Face / Off , Boogie Nights , andThe Sweetest Thing . Then , in 2004 , he got the theatrical role of Frank Castle , also known asThe Punisher , and fans were activated to see him in the fateful leather pelage .
But he is n’t Jon Bernthal , who playsThe Punisheron the hit Netflix tv serial . Thomas Jane ’s portrayal of vigilance man came across too dark and never brought any depth to the character besides all of the darkness that Frank Castle experiences in his biography . There has to be light among the darkness or the film is going to find out itself so uncheerful that no one wants to watch out it , and that is on the button what happened here .
Worst: Spider-Man 3 (6.2)
When there is already a monumental devotee base forSpider - Man , the expectations for whoever stepped into the role were very high-pitched . But even with all of that pressure , Tobey Maguire did a fantastic job portrayingSpider - Manin the first two film of the franchise .
By the third one , it felt as if it was meter to move on . The moving-picture show was slow and ungainly instead of being exciting and worked up . The disconnection between the audience and the film was tremendous and it felt as if we were watching a wedge film that no one wanted to film . There were one too many villains and the special effects were so phony , it no longer felt as if we were learn Spider - Man .
Worst: Punisher: War Zone (6.0)
Thomas Jane did not work out so Marvel Studios thought it would be a much full melodic theme to replace him and still film a sequel toThe Punisheranyways . Even with the horrible reviews of the originalPunisherfilm , someone still settle it was a good idea to still blast a sequel but or else of adjudicate to create a chef-d’oeuvre , they go all - in and decided to go for the gold .
That ’s exactly what they did and they seemed to abandon the concept of thePunisheras written in the Marvel comics and produce a history of a guy who was a joke . The story was over - the - top and atrociously cartoonish . The force was a bit much but very entertaining . In other words , if you wanted to enjoy a film for the basis of enjoying ferocity and explosion , then go see this film . Just do not be worried if you find that this film is pretermit any depth .
Worst: Blade: Trinity (5.9)
Of all threeBladefilms , Blade : Trinitywas by far the worst . It was nothing brusk of a lame excuse to make a little money off the name of the character and not the story . It was a failure at the box role too . It did make about the same as the original picture show but the conflict is that the originalBladefilm was keen . It was true to the comics and Wesley Snipes was the perfect person to play the role .
Since the story ofBladein the comedian is so skillful , any moving-picture show that deviates from the comic Koran is going to finish up with a lot of negative unfavorable judgment . The addition of Ryan Reynolds and Jessica Alba was a great idea for selling tickets but all they were used for was eye candy and humor . Nothing more .
Best: Deadpool 2 (7.8)
It rent 12 years for the firstDeadpoolto reach the heavy screen but when it finally did , it was a breath of invigorated air for Marvel andDeadpoolfans . The motion picture was everything you could have expected , and then some . The film made $ 363 million domestically , which made it the 44th highest grossing film ever . It was the secondly high-pitched grossing radius - rated cinema also .
So , course , a sequel was developed and it only took two years before it was released . As most sequels of box office blockbusters incline to do , this one started red hot and finished with around $ 324 million , make it one of the eleven highest grossing Marvel plastic film ever .
Worst: Fantastic Four (5.7)
call back when Chris Evans starred in a superhero film not as Captain America ?
It take place about 15 years ago when he played the Human Torch ( Johnny Storm ) in the 2005 version ofFantastic Four . It would be a few more age before he turn back to the big screen as Captain America and entirely redeem himself from being part of one of the worst productions of one of the original Marvel comic book fiber .
The film was goofy and relied on witty one - liners alternatively of a account that would please a devotee stem that is very patriotic to theFantastic Four . The character already had superpowers that required a ton of CGI like being inconspicuous or becoming a human fireball . So it was a hard endeavor to begin with and not once did it feel as if they did a expert problem .
Best: Iron Man (7.9)
Behind every Marvel superhero lies a man torn between two worlds . There is the normal world , which we all exist in and then there is the fantasy world of outer space aliens and Thanos . That ’s right , Thanos !
But then come Tony Stark , a human being who became Iron Man and was n’t afraid to let the world know about it . His attitude , mannerisms , and sense of temper was a perfect fit for Robert Downey Jr. , who was able to work the theatrical role to living and serve kick start the Marvel Cinematic Universe .
Would we be still sing about the MCU today if he was not the perfect person for the role ?
Worst: Hulk (5.6)
Sorry , but how many time are we going to be forced to watch a film about the Hulk that just does not work for reason we get hold it hard to explain . In the 2003 version , the function was played by Eric Bana , and he is someone the MCU would fuck to have again . But it just did not make sensory faculty back then and the entire film ended up becoming an utter heap .
The problem this clock time , had nothing to do with the deficiency of a account but rather it was a lack of vehemence . Ang Lee did a great Book of Job with the creation of this film but the issue he had was that it simply did not feature enough of the Hulk smashing things and wreaking mayhem on the city . It was also a bit too long for fans of Marvel films .
