First of all , praise guys . You made a story that , whenI name it on Twitter , I said Toy Story 4 had the most emotional beats and also the most funny bits of the whole franchise .
Director Josh Cooley : Oh , thank you .
I desire to go back to the start . Was the lurch from the head start always to do a route trip , with an antique computer storage and a fair as the main solidifying pieces ?
Josh Cooley : Not from the very beginning . And with the storey you guy wire got to play with some reasonably exciting , wholly new characters . Were there any other toy approximation you were considering that did n’t quite make the snub ?

Mark Nielsen : We consider so many ideas , right , because it ’s four or five years that we ’re hammering at this thing and going down unlike roads but everything that we felt was worthy and needed to be in there to support Woody ’s story made it into the final moving picture . There will be deleted scenes that we ’ll include in the household video release but the clobber that ’s in there was all kind of the poppycock that was most essential to telling the tale .
The institution or stock story of Forky to me elicit some interesting philosophic questions [ laughs ]
Josh Cooley : What do you imply ? [ laughs ]

[ all express joy ] About the substance of toy sprightliness ! But also the parturition of toy life because Bonnie creates Forky . My question for you is this : Can plaything produce life ? Could Woody have built Forky ?
Josh Cooley : I do n’t think so .
Mark Nielsen : But in a path ..
Josh Cooley : He was responsible .
Mark Nielsen : He was almost a co - source , a piddling snatch .
Josh Cooley : He made it possible .
Mark Nielsen : He made it potential . He got everything out of the trash and leave it all to Bonnie , so perchance .
Josh Cooley : But I do cerebrate that - what I believe - is that because Bonnie put so much importance into this detail and write her name on it he has a purpose now . And that purpose is what brought him to sprightliness .
Gotcha . This film also almost cover that line where the toys are getting closer and stuffy to unveil themselves to humans , and they interact in little bit .
Josh Cooley : A brace of times , yeah .
Do you think Pixar will ever cross that cable and fully see the toy interact with human beings ?

Josh Cooley : That would be a weird motion picture . Well , we ’ve already done it ! In Toy Story 1 , Woody literally babble to Sid .
I guess you ’re correct . They do scare Sid , do n’t they ?
Josh Cooley : He even says we have to break a few principle to do this .
That ’s straight , but we have n’t gone back to that . By they end of this story , and I guess with Toy Story 3 as well , the characters are leave in some interesting positions . There are different groups of them . Are you hombre straight up produce the Toy Story Cinematic Universe ?
Mark Nielsen : You make out , we ’ve been solely focused on the Toy Story 4 universe . Just this one film –
Josh Cooley : – It ’s hard enough to do one movie
Mark Nielsen : [ Laughs ]
Josh Cooley : I ca n’t imagine doing a mini serial publication like that . We just want to verify that this picture was a continuation of the giant before it and felt like kind of the mop up of Woody ’s arc as a part .
I ’ll wrap up with one last dubiousness . What are the Battlesaurs up to ?
Josh Cooley : Oh !
Mark Nielsen : Man ! [ Laughs ]
Josh Cooley : Did you see the Battlesaurs nod in the film ?
Yeah ! I saw the suitcase at the beginning which made me think of it .
Mark Nielsen : Yes , the lunch box .
Josh Cooley : Umm , I do n’t hump !
Mark Nielsen : I have n’t checked in on them of late .
