Yesterdayis a wild-eyed drollery with an edge of magical realism , directed by Danny Boyle and write by Richard Curtis - but the recapitulation have been very mixed . It seems as though The Beatles were chosen simply because of how famous and applaud their birdsong are , rather than because of any special ringing with the flick ’s theme . One aspect of the premise that many reviewer feel was leave undiscovered was the motion of whether songs written in the sixties would have the same response if people heard them for the first time in the twenty-first century , but aside from Jack ’s parent get blase during " Let It Be " and Ed Sheeran suggesting that " Hey Jude " should be called " Hey Dude " instead , that enquiry seems to be mostly left alone .
